Gather your closest friends and learn Mahjong together in a fun, relaxed private setting. There’s truly no better way to connect than around the Mahjong table, laughing, learning, and creating memories from the very first game.
This class is designed for complete beginners - no prior experience needed. If you’ve ever wanted to learn Mahjong but didn’t know where to start, this is the perfect introduction.
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, hosting a poolside gathering, planning a country club event, or organizing a girls’ night, this private class transforms any get-together into a unique, interactive experience your guests will love.
In this introductory session, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of American Mahjong from understanding the tiles and setting up the game to learning the core rules and flow of play. My teaching style is visual, supportive, and easy to follow, so you’ll never feel overwhelmed as you learn.
Private classes are designed to meet you right where you are, while still feeling elevated, engaging, and fun.
We require a minimum of 8 participants to book a private class. From there, multiples of four players are ideal for gameplay (8, 12, 16, 20), though we’re always happy to accommodate your group and can pair players as needed.
You provide the location, seating, and any light bites or beverages for your guests, we’ll take care of the rest. We bring the tables, tiles, teaching materials, and plenty of warm, welcoming energy to ensure your event feels seamless and special.

Private Class Policies:
To ensure a smooth and well-prepared event for your group, please review the following policies:
Deposit to Reserve Date & Time
Host must book & pay for their spot, $75 non-refundable deposit. This holds your private class date and time.
Head Count Confirmation
The class host must confirm the final participant head count no later than 5 calendar days before the scheduled class/event start time.
This final number will be used for planning materials, table setups, and staffing.
All class participants must be registered/booked 5 calendar days before the scheduled class/event start time.
Host Cancellation
If the host needs to cancel the private class/event, they may do so up to 72 hours before the class start time and all guests will receieve a full refund of all payments made (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class are non-refundable, for any reason.
Unfortunately, illness, scheduling conflicts, or emergencies cannot be accommodated for refunds within the 72-hour window.
Thank you for understanding and respecting these policies, which allow us to keep class sizes intimate and ensure the best possible experience for your group.
